Dr. Jesse Ngu, PsyD, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and a Master’s Degree
in Social Work from Columbia University. She has worked in the mental health field since 2008, bringing extensive training and experience with young adults, adults,
couples, and high risk individuals across community and correctional settings.
Dr. Ngu understands that life can be challenging as people balance multiple roles, responsibilities, and expectations. As a psychotherapist, her goal is to help clients understand their struggles, feel empowered to overcome them, and build the emotional resilience needed to navigate life’s obstacles. Her approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and collaboration, creating a safe space where clients feelsupported, heard, and capable of meaningful growth.
Dr. Ngu is also the founder of Sunlight Counseling Center – LCSW Professional Corporation. Her professional background includes work in inpatient and outpatient
psychiatric programs, substance use treatment settings, forensic and correctional environments, and emergency departments, where she has provided psychological
services, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and comprehensive case management.
In session, Dr. Ngu prioritizes open communication and strives to maintain an honest, supportive therapeutic relationship. She regularly reviews progress with clients, helps identify barriers to growth, and believes that with consistent support and constructive
feedback, meaningful change and personal transformation are possible.

Simina Caza, BA, MSW, ACSW
Siminia Caza, BA, MSW, ACSW, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. She is
currently completing her clinical hours as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) toward licensure.
Since 2015, Siminia has worked across a variety of mental health settings, providing direct clinical services and case management to adults experiencing a wide range of
mental health challenges. Her background includes supporting individuals in community based programs, outpatient/inpatient services, and other behavioral health
environments. Siminia specializes in trauma informed practice, helping clients understand how
difficult or traumatic experiences may shape emotional responses and daily functioning.
She is equipped to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and other life
challenges by fostering emotional awareness, resilience, and healthier coping strategies. Her clinical approach emphasizes empowerment, skill building, and balanced emotional regulation, helping clients manage stress in a healthier and more grounded way.
